Sharon grew up as an outdoors girl in rural Mason, Michigan, building tree houses, bridging creeks, and making ice skating rinks with her brother. She participated in all kinds of sports and credits those activities for her success later in fitness competitions.
Sharon and Byron formed Fish On Bicycles productions with the aim of producing their own material, primarily on video, and successfully produced the web series Sharon Runs The Crim. Sharon also produced the Las Vegas run of “Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol”.
Since attending Grand Valley State University with a dual major in Political Science and Philosophy, and dual minor in Account and Marketing, Sharon is the owner of Blue Gator Signs where she brokers signage for companies all across the U.S.
With her sister, Elizabeth Herrera, Sharon created fashion lines and produced fashion show spectaculars to promote sales. An avid athlete, Sharon also competed at world level in fitness competitions and toured nationally as a member of The Dead Frog Cheerleading Squad. Sharon has also done modeling, placing in the Miss Petite Michigan competition, modeling for print, cat walk and swim wear, and danced since the age of 17. Sharon credits her father with her love of music, a music producer/promoter, and she performs on vocals, drums, and guitar. Venturing into acting in films, Sharon can be seen in Kites (listed as the most expensive Bollywood film to date), The Hangover, Get him to the Greek, Swallow the Sun and has a featured role in I.M. Caravaggio, and plays the leader of the Doll Squad in cult auteur Ted Mikels’ production Astro Zombies M3: Cloned. Sharon is co-author of Bicycling With Fish, for which she created the original story.
